This month's customer service recognition goes to The Fresh Palate.

We recently had a couple stop into the chamber looking for vegetarian restaurant. Several restaurants were recommended including The Fresh Palate. A few hours later the couple came back to let us know that they chose The Fresh Palate and it was the best vegetarian meal they had had in the two weeks they had been on the road. They were very impressed and had never thought that they would find a restaurant like that in Alpena.

This month's customer service recognition goes to Better Living Massage Center & Spa. We received this note from a happy costumer.

"Thank you to Better Living Massage Center & Spa for an enjoyable and welcoming evening. Their staff was an absolute pleasure to be around. The young lady showing us the spa rooms upstairs was so polite and friendly. The "Brit with a Brush" was one of the nicest people to be around, she really made my night. Our family has already talked about doing it again."

This month's customer service recognition goes to Neiman's Family Market Corner Café. We received the following story from a happy customer.

"I have to give props to one of the employees at Neiman's Family Market. I don't know her name but she works in the Corner Café. We ordered 85 bagged breakfasts for a program we were hosting. I went to pick up the order at 7:05 a.m. She rang me up, helped me carry the boxes to my vehicle and then helped me load them into my vehicle. The entire experience from ordering to pick up was so smooth! She was just super friendly (always is when I am there), and eager to make it a good experience."

This month's customer service recognition goes to Zolnierek Heating & Cooling, Inc. We received this letter of praise from a thankful customer.

"We wanted to express our appreciation to Zolnierek Plumbing & Heating for servicing all our needs as we settle into our new home. With a host of issues upon moving in, Joe and Frank have acted in a prompt and professional manner, making sure we were taken care of in a timely fashion. With their expertise, advice and skills, all our problems have been fixed. It's refreshing to see this type of professionalism in the area and we would recommend them for all plumbing and heating needs."

This month's customer service recognition goes to Family Enterprise. We received this story from a very happy customer.

As part of a program a local woman was involved in, she received an item of clothing with her name on the back. The program organizers had ordered the items from an out-of-town company. When the clothing order arrived, just two days before the event for which they were to be worn, the woman picked hers up, only to find that her name was misspelled. Being that there were just two days before the event, one of which was a weekend day, she took it to Family Enterprise without much hope that there was anything that could be done. To her surprise, Family Enterprise fixed the item, had it done by ten a.m. the next morning, and didn't charge nearly as much as the customer expected to have to pay. She was very relieved and wanted to recognize Family Enterprise for their assistance that went above and beyond all expectations.

This month's customer service recognition goes to Young's/Art Van. We received this message from a very happy customer.

A woman called Art Van to tell them that a lift chair she purchased from them was not working. She called at 4:45 p.m., and by 5:00 p.m. someone was at her door to fix it. She was very impressed with the customer service and attentiveness she received from Young's/Art Van.
